Hi from the old goat,
There so many hilly streets in Syracuse that those with rotted out knees and other
ailments which preclude jogging, running, power walks etc should just look outside
the window and then head for the hills. Great exercise going up the hills, and just watch out
for the nutty drivers. Early in the morning is best, and you can probably walk to a nearby
hill for a good session. I would recommend the following hilly roads to be part of your circuit.
Lockwood Road
Barrington Road
Demong Drive
Seeley Road
Westmoreland Ave
Rider Ave
Stolp Ave
McDonald Road
Avery Ave
Seneca Turnpike
Velasko Road
Fayette Street
Geddes Street
Radcliffe Road
Oak Street
Dewitt Road
Calvin Road
Dudley street
Hoeffler Street
There are others- Syracuse is a very hilly city.
For the 75 and older crowd !
